St. Thomas offers non-credit classes, mini master's programs, workshops, and seminars to meet continuing education (CLE) requirements, help you accelerate your career, gain new skills and continue the journey of lifelong learning.

Non-Credit Programs by School/College

College of Arts and Sciences

Becoming Human: Dismantling Racism: This course confronts the legacy of white supremacy and seeks to dismantle racist structures as we strive to "become human" together.

Catholic Studies offers a two-course study and a six-week certificate, both of which are eligible to be applied toward a master's degree.

Music Education opens its graduate-level courses to non-degree seeking students to facilitate life-long learning opportunities for music education practitioners.

School of Law

On-Demand CLEs
The Minnesota Board of Continuing Legal Education allows attorneys to claim up to 30 hours of CLE credit per 45-hour reporting period through on-demand CLEs.

Compliance Certifications
In partnership with the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP), St. Thomas Law offers two securities compliance certifications—Certified Investment Company Compliance Professional (CICCP) and Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP).

    The Selim Center for Lifelong Learning engages adult learners in high quality educational opportunities that promote growth in mind, body, and spirit. Designed for people 40 and older, the Selim Center offers new programming each semester.

    Designed for people who are approaching retirement or who are recently retired, the Next Chapter program is a six-month guided journey grounded in Ignatian Spirituality whose purpose is to assist people to discern who God is calling them to be and what God is calling them to do in their next chapter of life.

  • Racial Justice MasterClass

    The Racial Justice MasterClass is for corporations and other organizations interested in advancing their work in diversity, equity and inclusion and moving toward racial justice. It is designed to be a continuation in the historical recovery journey and opportunity to join with others in the community to network and advance racial equity.
